OUR VISION
How it all started...
Twisted KISS was born out of a vision and passion that lead singer and band founder, Ann Marie, has had since around 2012!!!
Originally wanting to start an all-female Twisted Sister tribute band, limited experience and difficulty finding female musicians kept it only a dream. A few years later, she thought about starting a female-fronted KISS cover band, but interest was scarce.
In 2021, while vacationing in Florida and listening to Hair Nation on Sirius XM Radio, Twisted Sister and KISS songs were played back-to-back and the lightbulb went on!!!
Ann Marie is very passionate about both bands and has been a fan of Twisted Sister since she was 12 years old. She feels extremely fortunate that in 2007, through a friend who did some work for Twisted Sister, she got introduced and became friends with the band, their manager and road crew!
With her passion for the energy, stage presence and music of both KISS and Twisted Sister, and the desire to bring a Twisted Sister tribute to the area, in the spring of 2021, she decided to STOP THINKING ABOUT IT AND JUST DO IT!!! So ...she put out an ad for musicians and the rest is Twisted KISSTORY!!!!
We have assembled a very talented group of musicians and we can't wait to ROCK with you soon!!
