Cyro Soares is a Brazilian guitarist who started learning guitar when he was a teenager. From Brazil to America, he has played lead and rhythm guitar in many rock bands.
In addition to being a musician, he is an economist and works in corporate treasury of a big tech company.
Through his passion for music, Cyro is especially fascinated by hard rock, heavy metal & glam rock. His biggest influences are KISS, Twisted Sister, Motley Crue, Guns and Roses, among other rock bands. His guitar playing style is tremendously influenced by KISS Lead guitarists Ace Frehley, Vinnie Vincent and Bruce Kulick.
“I recall watching the movie Detroit Rock City on the TV when I was 12. After the movie ended, I couldn’t stop thinking about those four guys wearing makeup. I was hypnotized! I kept asking my brother who they were. That’s how music came to my life.”
For Cyro, the happiness and fulfillment in performing KISS songs live is something unspeakable. Being a part of Twisted KISS is, for him, like getting his heart’s desire.
